Maxim Erickson has achieved his end of season goal by finishing Top 10 in the 2017 ECB V8 Ute Racing Series. After recording strong placings at Bathurst and Gold Coast, he sat in 11th place only 36 points behind 10th heading into the final round held at the Newcastle 500. Showing consistency throughout the weekend in Newcastle, he gainied enough points to slip past his Peters Motorsport team-mate, Mason Barbera for his Top 10 finish. Maxim scored 497 championship points with only missing one round which was held in Townsville.
